We are delighted to welcome Margarida Barros to our group! Her PhD project, carried out between the INL, the University of Vigo, and the University of Aveiro, focuses on hybrid COFs for SERS detection of antibiotics. During her six-month stay at UVigo, she will work on the development of COF nanoparticles. We wish Margarida a successful and productive stay!

Today we are excited to welcome Verónica Silva to our group! Verónica's PhD work, developed between INL, University of Vigo, and University of Lisbon, will focus on the monitoring of biotoxins in natural waters using SERS. During 6 months here at UVigo she will develop composite materials to be used as SERS substrates. We wish Verónica a successful stay!

The Hybrid Nanomaterials Group at CINBIO is a multidisciplinary team with expertise in Chemistry (colloidal, materials, and organic chemistry), Magnetism, Biology, and Bioengineering. The group works collaboratively to design hybrid nanomaterials with functionalities across various fields, focusing on the design, synthesis, and characterization of new nanomaterials to develop applications in Biomedicine, Environmental Science, and Catalysis.
